Thanks, London!
HUGE thanks to everyone who came along to see us last week at The Islington in London – we did a hilarious Two Crime Writers podcast, then played our best set yet with four new tunes! What a riot!
Book Event in Liverpool Tomorrow!
So all SIX band members are appearing at Waterstones in Liverpool tomorrow night, talking about books, music and what we’ve got each other in our Secret Santa. Come!
LIVE in London!
Following roof-removing performances at the Edinburgh Book Festival and Bloody Scotland, we’re making our long-awaited London debut on January 11, 2018, at the Islington in North London. We will be happily murdering much-loved tunes by The Clash, Elvis Costello, Hank Williams, Bruce Springsteen and many others who are currently considering legal action.
As if this was not enough, the first half of the evening will see a live recording of the hugely popular podcast Two Crime Writers And A Microphone, presented by Luca Veste and Steve Cavanagh. There will be competitions, giveaways and books by all the authors performing will be on sale. Above all, there will be rock! There may even be a smattering of roll! You do not want to miss what is sure to be a criminally great show.
Tickets are available here. There are a limited number of Early Bird tickets available for only £5, so snap those babies up while they’re hot…

Here is an assortment of shots from our first ever show. Enjoy!
We Rocked Stirling!
So we totally rocked the crap out of the Bloody Scotland festival in Stirling at the weekend. On stage around midnight on Friday for a short and snappy set of classic crime tunes, people dancing from the start, the place bouncing, hot and sweaty from start to finish. Thanks to everyone who came along and supported us – so much appreciated! Most of the band also did various acoustic numbers at The Curly Coo on the Saturday night too, which was great fun.
Till next time!
Thank You!
Thank you! Our first ever gig was last Wednesday night in the Spiegeltent at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, and it went down a storm. Sorry it’s taken us so long to post about it, but we’re all still high as kites. Huge thanks to everyone who came along, sang, danced, clapped, drank, partied – it was pretty awesome, to be honest.
Next stop is Bloody Scotland on the 8th of September. Onwards!
The Janice Forsyth Show
Hey folks, we’re playing LIVE on the Janice Forsyth Show on Radio Scotland tomorrow at 2pm. Listen out or catch up in iPlayer.
